Light leaned back in his computer chair, staring at the screen. His topaz eyes gave nothing away as he took in the information. He knew, of course, that he was three men instead of one. Kira, Detective, and L. How charming. It seemed that the only one with faith in him anymore was Matsuda.

Matsuda strolled swiftly into the office, laying down his suitcase on a metal table, he spotted Light standing there, to Matsuda he looked concentrated on his work,
"Hey Light, any more leads?"

He shook his head, creating a mask of frustration to place on his face.

"Damn," Matsuda said. "This guy's impossible to find, he may be right in front of us but without us knowing, but seriously, what are the chances of that." he said laughing a little.

"Why would you be working to catch yourself." Matsuda laughed, "Just seems silly to me, turning yourself in." He paced over and sat on the chair next to Light, "So I don't think you're Kira."

Light confided, turning to look at his fellow detective.

"They just admired the first L so much that they follow his lead, they probably don't really believe you're kira deep down." Matsuda said trying to get his hopes up, "It's not like we've seen you write anything down in the death note, so how could you be."
