Yes, though it's hard to believe, 4 year old Near, could already solve 500 peice puzzles in under an hour. He was in his room, working on his latest puzzle, and his new favourite, the blank puzzle, with a single L in the top right hand corner.

B slunk into the room, looking around him furtively. He moved forwards, looking curiously at Near with a pudding bowl cradled in his arms.

Near stuck his tounge out, trying to figure out where one of the pieces went. Ah! He found the right peice and put it in place.

B tousled up his hair with one hand. He was wearing one of L's shirts (stolen from his room) and a pair of jeans stuffed full of food. He sat down, beginning to pull out his spoils. Two jars of jam, a jar of honey, a packet of sugar and a tub of cocoa.

Near looked up at B. "Hm?" He tilted his head to the side.

He extracted the final items, a tin of golden syrup and one of Mello's chocolate bars. Then he began to open all of the jars and packets and pour them one by one into his bowl.

Near watched him...what the heck was he doing?

He stirred the mixture, trying to make all the different ingredients turn into one mix.

He just sat there. Tilting his head, trying to figure out what he was doing. He soon got bored, and continued his puzzle.

After his mixture was pretty much all the same colour, he dipped in one finger to try it. "Perfect!" he beamed

He put down another puzzle piece and looked up at B, cocking his head to the side.

"Sugar helps the brain think." he said without looking at Near

He stayed quiet. Who was he?

He sprawled sideways so he lay next to the bowl and peered at Near.

He looked away, continuing his puzzle, he was half way finished!
