(He is in shock from the whole B 'im gunna kill you' thing. and he thinks he was the one who hurt L...and the B and L are the same cause of what B said.)
Near looked down at his wrist. "I......I am sorry that I put you in danger...." He said quietly.

"I guess that makes a pair of us," L said morbidly, lifting his own bloody wrist. He wasn't confident that he would be able to set a broken bone properly, never mind the wrist. Too many bones to worry about. They'd need a professional. "Watari should be back any minute now."

L was a little disappointed in his protege. Near should've had enough experience with Beyond by now to know that he should take whatever the maniac told him with a grain of salt.
