Quick stats: 33 years old, genius, unhealthilyy obsessed with sweets and crime-solving, particularly involving one certain killer...

L is willing to do almost anything in order to bring down Kira's quasi-reign. At one point in time he was even the top three most famous and successful detectives in the business, and now he's revealed himself once more to pit his mind and guts against his ultimate rival, Yagami Light.

(No picture up because of L's extreme paranoia.)

L is not adverse to communicating through phone, video (with the 'L' on the screen, of course), and email with potential suspects, but due to the threat of someone possessing the Eyes, he will not show his face. That is not to say one cannot try to goad L into revealing himself. Good luck, though.

Those from Wammy's House, on the other hand, will eventually be given a chance to speak with him face-to-face, should they prove their trustworthiness and loyalty to L.
