B sprang to all fours, staring at L. He lunged forwards, intending to get another blow in while the man was still recovering.

L lifted a knee to intercept the tackle, or at least to do some damage to the man on his way down. He didn't have to worry about holding back -- clearly Beyond had strength in him yet.

He slammed both fists at L, one aimed at his face and the other at his gut

L brought an elbow in to block one fist and turned his head to dodge the other. Then he surged from the ground, aiming a shoulder at Beyond's stomach.

B leant back, but the blow still caught him and he stumbled, lashing out wildly.

L's chin was clipped by one of Beyond's thrashing limbs and his legs went out from under him, landing him hard onto the other man.

He grabbed a rough handful of hair, yanking L's head back and punching him in the face, twice, hard, before he remembered that breaking L was Not. Allowed.

Blood flowed heavily out of his nose, but it didn't feel like it was broken. L took the hesitance before Beyond's next swing as a chance to bring his bring his legs into play. Flexibility and mastery at Thai kick boxing equaled a hard knee to B's solar plexus.

B grunted in pain, winded. He backhanded L in annoyance
