Near stayed up for awhile. He waited for the storm to pass before trying. After the storm faded he looked over at Mello to see if he was still awake.

Mello unwrapped a fresh bar of chocolate, making sure not to drop any on the white sheets.

Near closed his eyes attempting to fall asleep. He listened to Mello crunch off bites of chocolate bar.
